Police appeal after an assault on a 61-year-old male

About 1140pm on Thursday the 16th March 2017, a 61-year-old male was walking at the back of Dunfermline Bus Station towards the Taxi rank on Queen Ann Street in Dunfermline.

The victim was assaulted by a number of males (approximately 16-years-old) whereby they pushed him in the back, causing him to fall and strike his head.

During the assault the victim has heard a member of the public challenge the suspects, causing them to make off from the area.

The Reporting Office, PC Andrew MacKay of Dunfermline Police Office, is keen to trace any witnesses, in particular the member of the public who challenged the persons responsible.
