Another arrest has been made as part of the ongoing Fife anti-violence initiative, Operation Path.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a housebreaking, weapons and drugs offences in Leven.

Officers responded to a report of a housebreaking in Haughgate Street, Leven at around 11.50 pm on Wednesday 24th January.

A search later recovered a knife, a hammer and a small quantity of cannabis.

The man was scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday 25th January.

Sergeant Colette Mather from Levenmouth Police Station said: “Operation Path continues to tackle crimes of violence and the possession of offensive weapons.”
