Police Scotland officers in Methil are presently carrying out enquiries into a house which was broken into in Kinnarchie Crescent in the town sometime between Monday 30 October and Friday 3 November 2017. At this time it appears that a television and an I-pad have been stolen in the raid. The householder was sadly killed in a fatal road traffic in Methil on Sunday 29 October 2017.
Temporary Inspector Karen Muirhead at Levenmouth said ” This is horrendous set of circumstances, a bereaved family already affected by the death of a loved one are now faced with the house being broken into and personal possessions stolen. We are appealing to members of the public for information to assist us in identifying those responsible and hopefully recover the property stolen.
