Today marks the third anniversary of the last time that Allan Bryant was seen by his family and friends before he went missing in Glenrothes.
24-year-old Allan did not return home from a night out at Styx nightclub in Caskieberran Road on 3rd November 2013.
Stuart’s sympathies remain with the Bryant family who have had to endure three years of distress. We’ve been carrying out enquiries since Allan was reported missing to try to find him and get answers for his family, and my officers are still working on lines of enquiry on a daily basis.
Clearly through the passage of time, the likelihood of finding Allan alive diminishes – but I want to stress that we have no evidence that he’s not alive and my dedicated team are focussed on finding him. There is no evidence of criminality.
Over the past year there have been a number of developments which sadly have not led to us locating Allan. But every single piece of information received has been assessed, evaluated and actioned appropriately, by both the Major Investigation team and local officers within Glenrothes.
Stuart want to thank the local community who have shown support to the Bryant family and to my officers carrying out our enquiries. We continue to support the family through the local Community Inspector and a dedicated email address which they can use to get in touch to discuss any issues they may have or provide additional information relevant to the investigation.
Stuart would also urge anyone else who may have information that may assist the inquiry to email in – or phone 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The email address is OperationToner@scotland.pnn.police.uk.
