Our officers in Kirkcaldy are appealing for witnesses following a housebreaking in the Strathallan Estate.
The incident happened between 4.15 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday 18th January at an address in Dunvegan Avenue.
Entry was forced to the property and a large amount of cash, a safe containing personal items and various pieces of jewellery, were taken from within.
Local officers are continuing to conduct inquiries to establish if a housebreaking at nearby Bennochy Grove, on Thursday 19th January, is also linked.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Detective Constable Lisa Finnie from Kirkcaldy CID said: “We are continuing to conduct enquiries into both housebreakings and are appealing for the public’s help as part of these investigations.
“Anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area between these times is asked to contact police immediately.”
