Looking to join either as full-time police officers or special constables

Just a reminder that Fife Division will be holding fitness events on the 26th and 29th April.

The fitness tests are open to those looking to join either as full-time police officers or special constables and will allow potential candidates to have a go at the “bleep” test used when the service is recruiting.

However, the sessions are only a gauge of fitness levels in relation to the national standards set by Police Scotland and are not official recruitment events.

The Fife events will be held at Fife Divisional Headquarters, Detroit Road, Glenrothes, KY6 2RJ on Wednesday 26th April at 6.30pm and Saturday 29th April at 1pm.

To sign up for either event, email Police Scotland at FifeDCU@Scotland.pnn.police.uk or during office hours on 01592 411928.

Applicants should include details of their preferred date, as well as their name, date of birth and contact telephone number. Attendance by booking only. Places are strictly limited for all sessions.

If your position is confirmed, then please arrive in appropriate gym wear as there are no changing facilities and bring photographic identification.
Please avoid bringing bags as they may be subject to a search.

Please note that these sessions do not count towards the selection process and are merely an opportunity for candidates/potential candidates to assess their current fitness levels against the standard required to join Police Scotland. We look forward to seeing you.
